Shein wasn't asleep, but when Glock calls first watch, he doesn't argue. He just lays down next to Arren and seems to fall asleep.

No, nothing happens. Just rain and more drenched critters coming in to get out of it.

In his sleep, Dmitri starts vibrating and sinks a bit into the ground.

Glock wonders if waking up partially submerged in rock would cause any damage. Upon deciding that he can't come up with an answer to that question, he decides his watch is over. He does eenie meenie minie mo, which selects Shein to be the next watch.

Glock wakes him up by poking him with a stick.

Glock gets one poke before Shein actually grabs the stick and jerks. He opens his eyes and looks at Glock. "Don't do that again." He's not a very cheerful person when just woken up. Nope. He seems to know what's going on as he sits up. When he spots Dmitri, he raises a brow, then tosses a rock in his direction.

The rock sinks through Dmitri, who is still unconsciously altering his vibrational frequency to make him semi-intangible.

"Sorry. I thought that you'd go nuts if I woke you up with my hand."

And after the rock, "That's odd. Though I could be seeing things because I need sleep!"

Shein just stares at Dmitri. "You're not seeing things." He throws another rock.

Arren wakes up briefly, looking at Glock and Shein. He blinks twice, then goes back to sleep.

Shein glances at Arren, then looks at Glock. "Go on to sleep. I'll keep an eye on things." He does seem fairly awake now anyway. More so than someone who just woke up.

And that rock sinks through him, too. Dmitri continues to slowly sink into the ground.

Glock looks helplessly at Dmitri and says, "Hey, if he can encase himself in rock, he can get out too. It'll probably trigger the whole ability to use ability on demand thing."

With this pronouncement, Glock falls asleep.

Shein nods and just watches Dmitri sink into the rock. He's not worried about watching the door. The whole advance warning thing.

Dmitri wakes up, rather surprised to see himself in the rock. Maintaining vibrations in his lower body, he pulls himself out, devibrating parts that exit. "Well, that's the second time I've accidentally done that."

(OOC: Pass. Glock's asleep.)

Shein smirks a little. "Tried to wake you up. Tossed a couple rocks. They went right through you." He shrugs. "Nothing on the radar for now."

Arren shifts a little, then sits upright. He's pale. Probably tried to move the broken leg. He doesn't scream or anything. Makes no noise really.

"I knew I felt something." He tosses around and goes back to sleep.

(OOC: Pass again, unless you want me to post something about snoring.)

Shein tends to Arren for now. He'll wake Dmitri when it's his turn on watch.

(OOC: Skip ahead to that?)

(OOC: Sure. Kinda expected it.)

Dmitri is woken up for his watch.

Shein is still tending to Arren, who's still awake. He's probably not going to go back to sleep any time soon.

Arren still isn't saying anything or making a sound. He's just staring off at nothing really. Probably trying to stay disconnected from the pain.

After about an hour, Shein whirls toward the cave entrance. He's pretty silent while moving. He picks up a knife and creeps forward. Glancing at Dmitri, he motions toward the entrance. Looks like danger on the radar. He does not wake Glock. Probably cause Glock isn't in danger where he is.

Which is good, because it looks like Glock might actually get the mandated number of hours of sleep here. And it'll be good if at least one member of the group has slept in the last 24 hours.

Dmitri hurries to the entrance, kukri at the ready.

A small snake slithers in. It stops when it sees Dmitri and Shein, beady eyes staring between them.

"Do not let it bite you." Shein whispers. "If it does, you're dead. It's very poisonous. The military would not get to us in time." Probably saw it happening. "How are you with throwing weapons?" He's not risking the gun because of the noise. Could be there's something else out there? Or maybe he just doesn't want to wake Glock or disturb Arren.

Which would be a silly reason if that's the latter's the case.

"Terrible with them. Hmm... Here goes nothing." Dmitri is on the other side of the entrance and the snake is decapitated.
