Shein nods to Dmitri. "I hear ya." He keeps his attention out for any Rutian troops.

Arren settles down, wincing a little. He may be stoned, but he's not asleep yet. Looks like he might be asleep soon though.

When they reach the top, he points to something and says, "Is that it?"

(OOC: Pass)

Shein looks out at where Dmitri is pointing. "No. That's a mirage. It's behind us actually." He jerks his thumb behind them. "And we're about to be jumped." His sidearm is out and pointed behind them. When he turns, there's a young Rutian soldier that looks ready to run were it not for the fact that a gun is pointed right at his chest. Shein speaks to the soldier. "I won't kill you, but I will shoot you in the leg if you don't take us to the transport. Now."

The soldier is of no use to anyone else when he faints.

Shein just shakes his head. "They really need to send better people on this." He points out the transport. It's maybe half a mile away.

While the guy was fainting, Dmitri was brandishing his spear and yelling, "Do you feel lucky now... oh, I guess you don't..."

After looking around, he says, "So, do we just leave him here and go? Take him as a hostage?"

Shein looks at Dmitri for a moment, then shakes his head. "Rutians don't take captives." He looks at the soldier. "Brave guy for being willing to jump us though." He starts back down in order to head to the transport.

He shrugs and heads off with Shein.

It's going to take them a bit to get to the transport. Shein doesn't seem to be picking anything up on radar so far.

To make a long trip short, when they get close, Shein does slow down and crouch. "There's going to be at least four guards on the transport." He's speaking softly. "Think you can do your speed thing and knock them out?"

"We'll see." He runs at them flailing wildly and hitting them with Iron Maiden as well. Should they shoot, his speed will kick in. If he gets hit, they feel it triple.

Oh, they do shoot at him. Since his speed kicks in, they miss. They weren't expecting that.

He's at around Mach 0.5, still a lot faster than everybody. He whacks them all over the head with his pole-arm.

And the guards go down.

Shein is there shortly afterward. He's in the transport at the pilots seat, running a pre-flight check. It's not the full one, but enough of one that they'll get off the ground before any of the guards wake. He takes them near to the cavern entrance.

Yes, Glock should hear the transport approach and land.

Arren, however, has fallen asleep by this time.

Dmitri goes out to assist Glock in carrying Arren into the transport.

Glock turns to Arren. "Would it be remotely possible you think for us to take over one of your battle ships? I mean, could we take the bridge and then seal everyone else out? "

It certainly has flair.

Shein stays on board the transport, now armed with a kinetic rifle. He's keeping it secure. Once they're all on board, he seals the transport up.

Arren shrugs to Glock. "Never tried it before." He winces. Likely in a lot of pain from being moved.

Shein grabs the medkit and gives Arren something for the pain. He also helps Arren to a place to lay down. Then he looks at Glock. "In order to do so, we'd have to leave Arren behind. I say we just dock with the ship. That'd be sufficient enough surprise for them to pass us. Besides, Arren would get help sooner rather than later."

"Fine by me," Glock says.

He nods in agreement.

Shein waits until everyone is ready to go, then he takes the transport into orbit. Poor soldiers left on the planet. The ship in orbit doesn't even hail them. It recognises the transport. It remotely takes control so the ship can be docked easier. Once this happens, Shein turns to the others. "Well, I say we arm ourselves and act like we're taking over."

Arren nods slightly and takes a rifle when Shein hands one to him. He just aims it at the transport door.

Shein hands both Dmitri and Glock one as well. He, like Arren, aims at the doors, just waiting for the ship to fully dock and them to open up the transport.

He takes aim around where he estimates someone's groin would be.

Glock takes aim where he suspects someone's head would be.

The door slides open and the poor technician who starts to come in just about freaks out. He dives out of the way.

Naturally, that prompts several soldiers to go running toward the transport, weapons ready. One of them manages to make sense and call for the others to hold up. Another soldier mutters 'damn, I wish I'd thought of that'.

Shein just smirks, then slings the rifle upward.

Arren lowers his.

One of the soldiers, another smart one, calls for a medical team after realising that Arren is still laying down rather than on his feet.

"We pass?"

Shein looks over at Dmitri. "If we don't, I'm gonna be pissed and start shooting this thing at people." He looks rather serious.
