"The first thing that occurred to me was to throw up a bone wall."

Shein returns to where Arren is. "Well, Arren couldn't move, so I had to do something. I'm sure they figured that we'd either run or throw it out. I don't know though."

Arren shakes his head. "This isn't normal. They may have been watching us and saw Dmitri's being all speedy. They're having to adapt for that. They don't know that it's something he just discovered."

(OOC: Pass)

"I'm guessing not. Still, throwing it or stuffing it into the hands of whoever threw it should have been my first response."

Shein shakes his head at Dmitri. "Doesn't matter. Don't beat yourself up over it." He shrugs. "We need to continue on with the training and keep ourselves alive." He starts to check Arren over for any further injuries. Fortunately, there are none.

"That's a relief." He sits down.

"Maybe we should make it more dangerous for them. We've still got some metal poles for tents."

He take a pole and starts hacking away at one end to make a spear.

Shein chuckles and nods. "If we can keep Arren sober enough, he'll be able to take care of anyone that tries to slip in." He glances at Arren, who's lit up again.

"Awww. But I want to spear someone."

Shein looks at Dmitri. "I said if. The chances of that are probably low."

Arren sticks his tongue out at Shein. "I'm not stoned."

Shein smirks at Arren. "Yeah. You are."

"Right, but I think we should stick it to them, if you catch my drift, as opposed to waiting for them to find a way to have us all fail," Glock says. He follows Dmitri's example, making the tent poles into either javelins or spears.

"How are we going to deal with the dust outside?"

Shein nods. "Agreed. If we sit here and just fend off, we'll pass. If we go out there and fight back, we'll pass. They'll just make it harder if we sit here and fend off." He glances to Arren, then back to the others. "But someone is going to have to stay with Arren. He's too stoned to act on a second's notice."

"Am not," came the reply, a couple seconds later than it would have been. Arren just doesn't realise it.

Glock looks dejected that this won't end in stabbing anyone with a tent pole.

Noticing the look on Glock's face, he says, "Hurray. Something else we have in common!"

Shein just looks between the two of them. "Oh, go throw a sharpened tent pole at them if you can find them." He's amused. "I'll stay with Arren."

"Oh, if they try to make me go thirsty, they certainly will taste tent pole!"

"Sure. Though we should put some more mass into the front. Make sure it arcs properly."

Shein just shakes his head in amusement. "I'll stick to my sidearm and shoot anything that tries to get in. If I can wound them, Arren can then kill them." He's got no hesitation about killing one of his own soldiers at this point. They're being attacked, after all.

"I'm content with knocking them out."

(OOC: Pass)

Shein looks at Dmitri for a moment, then shrugs. "They attacked us. They'll keep attacking us until time is up. If I kill one or more of them, well, I was only trying to survive and had no other choice." He sounds serious.

Arren nods in agreement. He tries to sit up, though winces when he moves his leg and gives up.

"I was only going to stab them. Not kill them."

Glock isn't comfortable killing Rutian soldiers apparently.

He nods in agreement.
