Ordenreich official announcement pertaining to events in Christana

Micah: so here you are looking for heavy to tip the balance of power in your favor eh? Don't be alarmed. I'm not accusing you or your government of anything I would be doing the same thing in your shoes if I was in the same position

"Glad to hear it Hochmeister. Still, I hope you will allow me to express my fond desire that this be the start of a close and profitable relationship between our peoples."

Micah: It is my hope as well. I stuck my neck out for this meeting. Many in the Council think Heraklea will use the Ordenreich and then when we outrun our usefulness to you, you will leave us behind. I do not share that belief hence why I pushed for this meeting. The Council is willing to let this relationship start and will see if it proves to be mutually beneficial but it is not my head will roll and this relationship will end before I even make it out the front door. Please don't make me regret giving your people this chance Commodore.

*The Hochmeister held out his hand offering a handshake*

"We will not, Hochmeister." Commodore Simona grasped the Hochmeister's forearm in the manner of a Heraklean handshake, then slipped down to shake hands in the more conventional manner. After releasing the Hochmeister's hand, he stepped back and raised his hand in a salute. "Thank you, sir, for the opportunity to speak with you and begin a friendship between our peoples."

*The Hochmeister similarly crosses his right arm over his chest in the traditional Ordenreich salute.*

*Talks to normalize relations between Heraklea and the Ordenreich went well and the Hochmeister announced that Heraklea is no longer considered a potential threat to the Ordenreich. Already the first shipments of Element Zero, civilian tech to run it, and experts in the workings of Element Zero were being loaded and prepared for the trip to Heraklea. The Ordenreich informed Heraklea that due to the high value contents and personal on board the trade ships, the Ordenreich will be providing an armed convoy to go along with the trade ships. The Ordenreich promises to break off the armed escort before just before they reach the edge of Heraklea space and asks that Heraklean fleet take over protection of the ships. The Ordenreich further announced that it was reassigning its first strike "artillery" fleets positioned in the dark space between Ordenreich and Heraklea space out of dark space and back into Ordenreich space as a gesture of friendship to the new relations between Heraklea and the Ordenreich.*
