Long Ago and Far Away (FT)

Luther reacts quickly enough to redirect it back at him sending him flying back.

He sprints and leaps at Morbus, trying to cover the distance between them.

He throws his lightsaber at Luther but misses by a good margin.

(OOC: He rolled a 98. The base "skill" I'm having both of you roll by is 75.)

(OOC: By 75? I'm not exactly sure what kind of dice you're rolling?)

He seizes the opportunity to charge at Morbus.

(OOC: One of the d10s is the 10s place, the other is the 1s place. You have to roll below a 75 to succeed and your opponent has to roll below your roll to block your attacks and vice versa. Like I said, pseudo-Dark Heresy rules. You're already heading towards him. How do you attack and what's your roll?)

He charges at Morbus and then lunges at him with his lightsaber.

Morbus barely manages to roll out of the way. A bit of his robe is singed. He pulls his lightsaber back towards him and swings down.

(OOC: You failed your roll so he didn't have to do a parry roll. 66 for his attack. If you roll lower, you can just say how you blocked and whatever.)

(OOC: 91. I'm assuming he hit.)

(OOC: Yes. I'm keeping a "tally" of "hit points." You're at about 480/500. He's at around 465/500.)

Morbus scores a glancing blow against Luther's shoulder. Some of the damage is mitigated by cortosis-weave armor, though.

Johan shakes off the blow and quickly strikes back.

Having swung wildly on the last strike, Morbus is forced to move quickly and barely blocks it in time. Sabers locked, he attempts a Force Push.

Johan tries to hold his ground.

Luther is thrown backwards approximately ten meters. As Luther is recovering, Morbus attempts to Force Choke him.

He tries to resist the choke.

Luther throws off the choke completely.

(OOC: Your attack. You'll even have time to taunt him about how pathetic that attempt was.)

(OOC: What, talking is a free action? )

Johan lunges back at Morbus.

(OOC: 43.)

Luther runs his lightsaber right through Morbus' left shoulder. He blasts back with Force Lightning.

(OOC: 25. He's at 270/500 or so now.)

Johan grunts in deep pain after taking the Force Lightning, and tries to gouge Morbus with his lightsaber and then pull it out.

(OOC: How did you get 108? 2d10s only go up to 100.)

As Luther got blasted back and temporarily incapacitated, Morbus staggers a bit and says, "Don't think you're even close to defeating me!" He turns to one of the Jedi in the tubes and Force Drains him. His shoulder wound heals up rapidly.

(OOC: ... I just realized that all of my rolls are 10 higher then they should be. /facepalm)

Johan frowns, and says, "And so what of it? Perhaps I'm not close now, but I'll be close soon enough."

With renewed vigor, he jumps into the air for a power attack.

Being too busy gloating to pay attention, he gets slashed right down the chest. Some of his ribs are severed by Luther's lightsaber. He Force Drains another Jedi and heals right back up.

"Bah! With the power of the Star Forge behind me, I am invincible! You never realized its true potential." He tries a Force Crush.

Luther manages to resist, and then tries to do a quick spinning slash.

He gets another slash across the chest, forcing him to Force Drain another Jedi to stay alive. There are 21 left. He tries to hit back with Force Wave.

Johan holds his ground. However, instead of trying to hit Morbus again he tries to create one massive Force Push to break the Jedi from the tubes.

Some of the tubes shatter and the Jedi inside die. It's not quite fast enough, though.

(OOC: Destroy Droid or Force Drain works better. Force Drain is kind of a dark side power, though. You don't need to roll to destroy those tubes.)

Morbus is furious and lets out a Force Scream at him.

(OOC: This edit is a bit late, but I just realized that if Burn had devoted the materials used for the second Craftworld into kamikaze robotic fighters, the war would have been over in an instant, what with something the size of the Death Star equaling the volume of several million Star Destroyers. That would completely overwhelm anything the Star Forge could do. Come to think of it, if the alien fleet way back then was equal in material to a Death Star, we should have lost horribly without the aid of the rest of the galaxy.)
