The Incredible Case of the Missing Artefacts (PT)

Credic quickly places a Freezing Cloud on top of the thieves while Daedas fires at them with her longbow. Meanwhile, Dalor wields his mace and begins to close in on the thieves.

(OOC: Sorry about this. Been kind of busy.)

Lorias is hit by the freezing cloud and is shot by Daedas. Lorias swings overhead at Dalor while Sato throws Darkness at the rest. Colette responds with Light, but it throws out only a torch's worth of it. Regardless Gaius rushes in behind Dalor.

Dalor tries to use his training to guess the positions of the enemies in the darkness while Daedas looks carefully at the positions of the enemies and fires on where she suspects they are. Finally, Credic casts Ozocubu's Armor, which covers him in an armor made of ice and Freezing Aura on the weapons of Dalor and Gaius, which temporarily enchants them with a frost brand.

Sato throws Ensorcelled Hibernation at Gaius and Dalor. Gaius manages to shrug it off but Dalor succumbs. Gaius lunges into Sato, stabbing right through his lung. Meanwhile, Joza tries to sneak up behind Credic and stabs him. Colette rushes forward and tries to stabilize him.

(OOC: Rolled a d20 for that. Rolling 10 or below against sleep I considered a save against it. Gaius rolled a 3. Dalor rolled a 20. For the stab at Sato, it was a 12 or below. Sato rolled an 18. Roll below 12 for stab attempt on Credic. He rolled a 20. 12 for stabilizing Credic. Colette rolled a 6. My die hates your guys, apparently.)

Daedas tries to pick out Joza's position, scanning the area around her. Meanwhile, Credic groans from the pain of the surprise attack and mumbles out one last Freezing Cloud before losing consciousness entirely.

Daedas spots Joza just as she stabs Colette. Gaius rushes back. Sybille starts making her way back from over 100 meters away.

(OOC: Both Daedas and Joza rolled 1s in their attempts to roll under 10.)

She begins to ready her longbow and fire off her arrows at her, with intent to finish her off that way.

She misses. Joza flings her dagger at Daedas, who manages to dodge. Gaius starts getting close. Sergius remains dazed and confused and Sybille is still out of range.

(OOC: Daedas rolled an 18 for the shot. Joza rolled a 10 for the throw. Daedas rolled a 6 for the dodge.)

She fires off another shot, taking time to build up power and aiming carefully.

And Daedas strikes true, punching through Joza's heart. Sato is still alive but just barely. Sybille is using what healing magic she has to help Colette, who will hopefully be able to stabilize Sato for interrogation.

Daedas goes and tries to take care of Credic while Dalor continues his unnatural slumber.

Days later, all the injured are recovered and the Orb of Thralni is retrieved. Yay.
