(OOC: Before I start I would like to point out that there will probably be a lot of super sci fi stuff in these mini RPs that I come up with or are inspired from other sci fi movies and games. Some of these may not make since in real world science but this is sci fi so thats why I'm doing it. This also means that you guys will have a little more room for RP because you can try to understand how certain things work that I come up with. With that said let us begin)
Ordenreich 2nd Exploration Flotilla
"Fur Den Auftrag"
Ship Numbers: 32 scout class frigates
Command Ship: T.S.F.
New HorizonsBase of Operations: New Novgorod Orbital Ship service facilities
Objective: Map out the galaxy, discover and assess all potential planets and alien civilizations
Current Orders: Map out the region from the Ordenreich sphere of influence to the "southern" galactic rim (Henceforth designated as the Hanseatic systems) and determine which planets are suitable for potential colonies and discover any spaceflight or pre-spaceflight races. UPDATE: As per Ordenreich friendship protocol with its neighbors, all system discoveries are to be made available to other empires for their own research

Order Captain LeonReport: Fallen Glory is a garden world in its last stages. Currently the planet has a comfortable average temperature of 72 degrees Fahrenheit and is a mostly temperate world with very few aggressive plants and animals. On any other day I would recommend immediate colonization but that unfortunately is not the case here. Upon closer readings we have discovered that the star the terran world orbits is giving off unusually high UV radiation. Based off samples we took from the planets surface via ground teams this increase in radiation is recent and not normal for this planet. As a result the UV rays are slowly eating away at this planets natural ozone layer causing radiation spikes on small portions of the planet which is shown as black spots on the planet's surface. Another problem we have discovered is that Fallen Glory's moon has a very unstable orbit around Fallen Glory. Its orbit is not perfectly circular but its orbit brings it extremely close to the planet, so much so that the moon actually scrapes against Fallen Glory's atmosphere. After passing that close the moon then shoots out to around 50 million miles from the planet before coming back in. This odd orbit is causing significant seismic activity on the planet's surface and, if left unchecked, may buckle Fallen Glory's crust. It is also worthy to note that this orbit changes every 10-20 years. The moon's orbit is slowly decaying with the moon coming closer and closer to Fallen Glory's surface every 10-20 years. Our scribes predict that within a century, two at max, the moon will collide with Fallen Glory. We sent ground teams to the moon to discover why the moon was like this because Fallen Glory could never have achieved Terran status in this state. What we discovered is still speculation but our scribes theorized, based off impact sites on the moon, that a colossal asteroid had collided with the moon causing its orbit to become destabilized resulting in this odd orbit. We are continuing to run experiments till further orders are received from HIGHCOMM. End Report.
