Swiss Consulate in New Vegas

Following the successful declaration of independence for and the recognition of the state of New Vegas, the Swiss government announced today that it will be opening up a consulate and trade post in Jacobstown. As per the agreement, the consulate will house a hospital and medical research center for a cure for the Nightkin's schizophrenia. Pending funding, the research center will also look into a way to reverse the ghoul condition.

A week later...

Following the opening of the Swiss consulate and trade post in Jacobstown, the Swiss government, along with various other companies, have offered to restore McCarran Airport and Searchlight Airport to working condition. Permission is requested to open up a trade post at McCarran and Searchlight, as well as the Legion camp at Cottonwood Cove.

In addition to using UAVs to hunt deathclaws, a more private request is made to Arcade and Tex that Swiss Special Forces be allowed to operate in New Vegas territory to assist in hunting down slavers. They will be answerable to them and their laws.

Permission was granted on all accounts. Construction material is moved from Jacobstown, where their first outpost was, and shipped to McCarran where they began clearing out rubble. They will replace windows, clean up litter, repair roads, etc. When finished, they will move on to Searchlight Airport.

Meanwhile, 120 Special Forces troops are dropped off across the Mojave Desert and parts of California itself where they roam, in groups of six, in search of slavers with very distinctive Rhean energy weapons, specifically, the DC-17m Interchangeable Weapon System that can change from high powered plasma blaster to highly accurate sniper rifle to anti-armor rocket propelled grenade.
